A servo amplifier is a key component in the servo system loop. It receives a signal from the control system, then amplifies the signal, before transmitting electric current from a power supply to a servo motor, in order to produce motion. Sounds simple, but repairing them is not.

The following is the process which every servo amplifier goes through:

· Dynamic Static Check

· Clean, Wash and Bake entire unit

· Thoroughly test each component

· Repalce bad and worn componenets: Resistors, Diodes, IGBT's, Capacitors, Electrolytic Caps, Fans

· Preventive Maintenance replacement

· Full run-test on brand and model specific CNC simulator
